I don't know if Christopher Hitchens was right or not but the more I read about Religion, and the damage it has caused, the more I tend to agree with him.

The arrogance and complete selfishness of the people who think any "god" would grant their prayers...for a new job...for not getting a cold...for whatever...when so many innocents in this world are starving to death with no mercy..bombs dropping on countries whose policies we don't like...I am sure these people all deserve an answer to their prayers....it's all a load of crap.  It has everything to do with Luck, being in the right place at the right time,  how the stars line up at that particular moment...

Broken arms and all that jive:
Um yeah...so who'd a thunk that a broken arm (humerus) would be such a pain in the ass???  First and hopefully last broken bone for me. Fell off a damn horse a few months back!  The x ray is amazing.......the bone is broken completely in half....
